Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer

Carlton Services has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and competent Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. We provide services specialising in repair, installation and maintenance of air conditioning systems, refrigeration and mechanical services.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair a wide range of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, ensuring safe operational functionality and presentation.
  • Complete relevant service documentation and provide full diagnostic reports
  • Troubleshoot/diagnose and resolve breakdowns on A/C equipment

Applicants should have:

  • Able to work at heights.
  • Good Health and Safety awareness.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent time keeper.
  • Experience in multiple technical disciplines.
  • Clear driving license

Applicant technical requirements:

  • Air Conditioning experience on a range of equipment
  • F Gas Certificate and NVQ2 qualification
  • Experience on Heating, Ventilation and Refrigeration including: –
  • Fans and Motors/VRF/VRV/Splits/AHU’s

Salary: Up to £40,000

Commercial Catering Engineer with COMCAT Certification

Carlton Services is a reputable business with a great, long-standing team and currently has an exciting new vacancy available for a permanent experienced Commercial Catering Engineer. The primary role of the position will be fault finding and servicing of Commercial Catering & Warewashing Equipment, but at times you will also be required to carry out installations alone and with other engineers.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and certified Commercial Catering Engineer with COMCAT (Commercial Catering Appliance Testing) certification to join our team. As a Commercial Catering Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial catering equipment. Your expertise and knowledge in COMCAT certification will ensure that all appliances are compliant with safety regulations and operating at optimal efficiency.

Salary: Up to £40,000

Responsibilities:

  2. Servicing and Maintenance
  3. Repairs and Troubleshooting
  4. Documentation and Reporting

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. COMCAT Certification (COMCAT 1, 3, 5)
  2. Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Commercial Catering Engineer
  3. Technical Knowledge

  5. Compliance and Safety
  6. Communication Skills
  7. Time Management and Organization
  8. Customer Service
  9. Valid Driver’s License

 

The ideal candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills. They need to be enthusiastic, work well with people, an excellent communicator and be able to show initiative but also take direction well.

Carlton Services recognises that people are at the heart of what we do, and have been since 1978. That’s why we aim to recruit and retain the best members of staff and offer challenging and rewarding opportunities.

We offer a great working environment along with all the required training to achieve your NVQ Level 2 qualification that will be a combination of college and working alongside a fully trained engineer.

You must ideally have a driving licence and be within close proximity of the office for logistical reasons.
